NextTerm: Launching May 2019

One class. Three weeks. Anywhere your mind can go.
For three weeks each May, Hun freshmen, sophomores, and juniors participate in a ground-breaking immersion learning experience designed to offer a deep exploration of real-world topics. NextTerm courses are project-based, credited courses that fall outside the constraints of traditional disciplines. They are team-taught, informed by a variety of environments and real-world practitioners, and utilize resources both on and off campus.
Great thinkers almost always have several things in common. First, they draw on a spectrum of knowledge and understand how various skills and disciplines interplay. Second, they are influenced by first-hand experiences, successes and failures. And third, they immerse themselves in topics that they are passionate about, allowing their personal excitement to fuel their discovery and innovation. At Hun, we strive to create great thinkers, prepared to thrive in a diverse and ever-changing world.”
— Jonathan G. Brougham, headmaster
